Mr. Woods is a SIFT research scientist specializing in machine learning in adversarial and non-cooperative environments, and in the security of adaptive systems.  His past studies have included the security of statistical classifiers, such as email spam filters and web spam detectors, that are susceptible to manipulation by adversaries.  Prior to joining SIFT, Mr. Woods was a software developer specializing in software for the detection of financial fraud and money laundering.
