SIFT scientists attend Dagstuhl Plan Recognition Workshop

Earlier this spring SIFT scientists participated in a Dagstuhl Workshop on Plan Recognition.

The Schloss Dagstuhl Leibniz Center for Informatics promotes fundamental and applied research, continuing and advanced academic education, and the transfer of knowledge between those involved in the research side and the application side of computer science. Sponsored by the German government, the center hosts seminars and workshops to bring together internationally-remowned leading scientists for the purpose of exploring a cutting-edge informatics topic. The friendly and open climate at the conference center promotes a culture of communication and exchange among the seminar participants.

SIFT Principal Researcher Dr. Robert Goldman served as one of the Plan Recognition seminar's organizers. He and Senior Scientist Dr. John Maraist attended the seminar in early April.
